Industrial DnB!

That's what it made me think. You had some pretty interesting machinery-type sounds, like that hissing noise, for example. The drums could have slightly more variety, but it's nothing really tormenting to the overall sound. The main dark theme is awesome, kinda makes me think evil bad guy factory or something. Maybe an all out intense part that's totally full blown would be nice : )

-Well, you did this nicely, and it was quite enjoyable. Well, if any of my songs are "magically" going to get a review, it'll might be TRS-Marimba Mania! Keep in mind, if it's magical, there will be a raised review score and overall score, meaning above a 4. Lol, just kidding with you, do what you want.

-Great job!

PERVOK responds:

I think I will cast my magical reviewing powers now.

Pretty good!

The bass riff you used was pretty standard, but it wasn't bad at all. This is a great listen, really a true dance song. The buildups were perfect as well. The clarity seemed slightly shaky at times, but was the best overall. Just keep doing your great work!

-Check out my techno songs and fiven them!

I heard this in...

...Super Smash Brothers, for the Gamecube, but I had no idea where it was from, hehehe.

-Anyways, the guitar is a nice add! And you really made it sound pretty decent. Maybe a little more changing it up, that would work. But it's a nice start. I mean, it's got a couple of changeups, but it needs something more, I dunno.

-Great song, go check out my techno songs and rate them!

Nice!

A really new kind of trance for Newgrounds, trance with lyrics isn't usually found here. Pretty sweet! You Christian? Because if you are, that's awesome, 'cause I'm basically doing what you are, Christian music maker on Newgrounds. The vocals were alright, but at the same time, they seemed slightly out of place, in the tonal quality, but it isn't bad. The backround was pretty sweet though, especially how you added some piano in there!

-Well, you're doing great! Check out my techno songs and fiven them! Have a great day!

-SuperDrummer146

Dude, this is my piano!

I recognized every synth and drum beat! And you probably don't remember me, but I reviewed one of your earlier works, and you even said it was a Yamaha piano of some sort. I know for sure! Great job doing so much with a piano!

-SuperDrummer146

P.S. Check out my techno songs and rate/review them!!!

MilkMan-Dan responds:

No way!... you have a Yamaha DGX-305???!!!

That's freakin fantastic!... I think it's the greatest thing that ever happened to me :P. Besides... u know... girls and stuff. Anywho... isn't it freakin amazing what that thing can do. Every song in my arsenal is made with that thing. I'll be glad to check out some of ur work in good time... never u worry :).

Wow!

This is pretty cool. I'll be honest, I don't listen to hip-hop entirely too much, so I apologize if any of critiquing is kinda off. It happens, but yeah...

-Anyways, you've got yourself a quality piece here. It jumps out at you, especially the synths you've used, those were pretty awesome. Some of the voices you used seem to overlayer each other, creating a booming sound that was a little too aquward to my ears, but it could have easily have been my speakers. The only thing I suggest that you could add is a part without drums, and the main chorus you've got, and the drums can build back in towards the end of the chorus, or that section.

-Nice piece, come check out my techno songs, you're sure to get a kick out of them!

Dude, it's a WinTang production!!!

Yeah, you made another song! Sweetness!

-Anyways, this seemed something like you'd hear on a popular Game Boy game or something, but it's cheery and fun. Hmm, maybe you could switch things up by making the intro how you pulled the whole song out to, and it bursts into some DnB beats and the song, and just change around the rhythm of the melody and such to fit that, that would be tight!

-After that, I'm really unsure of ideas. If you need any ideas, go check out my techno songs that I've released and fiven them (optional, but recommended, lol).

-Good start, hopefully, you get some really good ideas!

-SuperDrummer146

WinTang responds:

Thanks for the review, but I don't really get what you mean... I'll contact you about it sometime soon, if that's okay with you.

You're getting there!

You seem to be on the brink of a very sweet idea. Like an Evenescene type of song, if you know what kind of band they are. If not, you're basically on the brink to some sweet classical pieces mixed with some upbeat drums. It's not a bad idea, but it's seems too bassy for what you're trying to do. Seriously, if you want that heavenly part to it, the bass has either got to have one part by itself, like a solo, or very quiet, it can't rule over the main melody.

-It is missing something, but it's hard to put a finger on it as well. I could guess forever though. How 'bout a part with no drums and just the synths for the chorus part just playing, and the drums build back into it, and add some electric guitar to the song. Another countermelody or two would be nice as well. A sound change in the drums would be appropriate as well, as it doesn't seem to enhance the song with what you've got.

-Not bad though, come rate some of my techno, you're bound to love it!

LoneEagle responds:

Hey i remember Evanescence but i only heard they first few tracks, after that i really have no clue as to what they became. I thought that the girl was going to sing solo? Anyways...

Yea i had a really hard time with the bass and it's volume level. I think this song is best heard with a headset because i have one basline playing on the left speaker and another one on the right :D

Those are some suggestions that you have brought and they might come in handy in the futur. Except for that electric guitar one... especially not with fruity loops, the electric guitars sound like crap.

Thanks a bunch for the review.

I don't care what you say...

...the piano just owned this song, how the mood went, the dynamics, it was very cool to listen to! The supporting synths were very nice. In all, it gave the song a very medival theme, which is kinda wierd with the Metroid theme, but very acceptable nevertheless.

-Check out my techno songs and rate them, and great job on a great mini-piece here!

-SuperDrummer146

Distortzion responds:

Medieval? LOL! I used so much reeverb to let it sound quite cave-ish, and that is really metroid-ish ^_^

Anyway, thx for the rev. Look out for revs from me :D

Different...

I would classify this more a a peppy/happy DnB theme, as you mixed the DnB drums with the killer trance synths/melodies. But it's very different than most stuff here on Newgrounds. You're using FL Studios, right? There was a specific sound that made me think that, but I dunno. Either way, that was some crazy madness there, no-one could duplicate this as perfect as you made it.

-Great job, check out my techno songs and rate them. Great job again, it was a true pleasure to listen to!
