- 0 whoa!

Wow man, you're getting better since the last time I heard you, crazy! You've obviously got a better knack for creating music. Though some of the transfers are weird, and the drums tend to be the same the whole time, this is just too cool : D

-Nice FX by the way!

True Rave : D

A great track with some killer distortion and FX, but a better melody would really kick this song up a notch : D

RoboX responds:

I do too...Now that I listen to it its just the same melody over and over. Though I feel accomplished with the song overall, I definately could've added another melody in there. I just was afraid it might take away from the song or have a different sound.

Sweet!

The only major problem I see here is that the chord structure is wimpy, if you really want that cathedral tone to ring out, make the chords darker, not necessarily louder. Nice idea though : D

Grn-Drgn responds:

Thanks I'll try to follow your advice next time. Well actually, I tried to make them darker but I put it too dark and... well... it sounded like a fart... so I just kept them like that, I was kind of tired, y'know looking at my comp screen from really close hurt my poor eyes and... nvm lol i'll stop talking about pointless things :P... Thanks again for the review! :D

Wow man :D

Seriously impressed with this track, it combines a lot of good styles of music from some Middle Eastern percussion feels and other stuff. The strings are pleasant, but it seems that the percussion lacks dynamic change except for it's syncopation, maybe only one instrument of percussion playing instead of dropping everything out? Either way, very ace : D

MaestroRage responds:

indeed the percussion field does lack some dynamics. I'm horrible with percussionals, and making that loop in itself took me about half an hour. I had originally planned to go on a whole escapade spending a whole day to just working on percussionals, but time is fast becoming a luxery, so for a while I have to squeeze out what I can!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you enjoyed the piece ^^.

Love the title name : D

The only big suggestion I would have is to add some sax into the mix when you finish the song in this beginning part you make, it would sound really nice, and then you punch in with the big part of the song, just heart melting riffs on that sax : D

-Keep it up man!

Wow!

The atmosphere of this track is extremely great! I love the great EQ or whatever FX you had on the bass instrument, it was extremely great to hear. Maybe another little interluding synth, soft, but perks out a little here and a little there? I dunno, just ideas, this is a great track : D

AHH CRAP!

Classical piece really nice, but the fluid panning was just so great, it hurt my ears ; (

-But that's my fault for listening to too much music, so there : P

-Tight piece, I like the ambience to it. You use FL Studio? If so, you had a nice use of the MultiBand Compresser : D

-ImperfectDisciple-

LJCoffee responds:

Hey there - so the panning hurt your ears did it? :(

No FL here - all Reason and Acid.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment though - I appreciate it! Sorry I didn't see your review earlier - I really REALLY think NG should have some sort of way to see if there are reviews without responses - especially for the older submissions.

Phycadelic : D

Just crazy what you did with this, should be ambient : D

-The FX at the beginning threw me off with the glitchyness, there was a certain little area in that that wasn't entirely too pleasant, but nothing like INSANELY crazy bad, it was overall great.

-The oriental with western combo of musical styles was just crazy! Surprised me with the ending too. Great song man : D

-ImperfectDisciple-

LJCoffee responds:

heh heh :D

I loved that review.

it wasn't anything INSANELY crazy bad...

lol

Thanks for taking the time! I'll be reviewing your latest later tonight!

Flowing!

Has a nice flow to it, the synths you used sounded great mixed together, the dynamics are kinda shallow though, maybe if you exaggerate your dynamics, they'll be more effective. Good job man, this is tight : D

Feels generic...

The song itself has got some nice sounds to it, and maybe some cool transitions and twists, but the drums are generic (probably not your fault, just find some FX or killer samples to put in there), but except for when the tempo change occured, it just feels taken from midi and SLAP with new sounds and FX. MAKE IT YOUR OWN, you know cornandbeans, the ULTIMATE remixer I know right now, make this your own! Just keep working man, you'll get it : D

-ImperfectDisciple-

P.S. I'll be having my own remix of this song soon, be sure to check out my songs though : D

DaGrahamCraka responds:

well, cornandbeans is a little more experianced than me...but ok. well, its not a midi. never was a midi. but ok. thanks anyway.
