Thank you
I really don't care, submitted or not, this was a good learning experience to listen to. I hope to write stuff like this one day :)

Thats a really nice complement, thankyou very much!
I listened to some of your music. I'm sure you would be able to make something like this with the right samples and instruments. :)
Your music is fun to listen to!
Thanks again.
I always get excited when you make it to the top 5 for the week or on the top 25 all time list. Means more great music coming from you :)

Unique :)
+Very nice rendition of this piece. It's very upbeat, yet relaxing. Very unique with the percussion/woodwind aspect intertwining with each other. Made this piece amusing.
-At :14 - :21, the drum and hi-hat combo feels too empty. Keep the snare there, but maybe try offbeat hits.
-Needs a little more warmth in the bass end. The whole piece is lacking a foundation on the bass in some parts.
+Section at 1:24 is the most beautiful thing in the world. If you were going to do a loop...
Part 1-Start at 1:24, transition to beginning of song.
Part 2-Beginning of song, then go to :30. Repeat starting from part one
Another great loop start would be...
*Start at 0:30 and go to 1:24, repeat. A cool idea with that would be to, starting at :42, going to :49, have a chorus of people shout "hoooh" on beat 3 of each measure, something like that could be fun :P
***So there yah go, two possible loops you could make ;) Just keep experimenting and having fun. This was great :) Sorry for throwing all the random ideas out. I kinda go there when I get excited about the possibilities of music :P
-ImperfectDisciple
Sorry? Throwing random ideas is GREAT! Hahaha.
Actually, I meant to have string bass and/or cello in there to bulk it up a little. I guess I got too excited that I posted it without writing it in, lol.
And I know what you mean about the lack of snare at :14-:21. I like the change in feel with taking the snare out though. I could add shaker or something though to keep a beat if you think that would work...
And I like your loop ideas. The only vocal stuff I have is some drumline vocals, haha. I bet I could find something to fit. I was also going to have Navi's "Hey!" and "Listen!" along with some Link noises, not necessarily on beat, but I couldn't find a place...
THANKS for the review! And I'm glad you liked the piece!
BlazePyron has a good point...
+ = :D
- = hmm, look into it.
+Slower, legato, flowing section was amazing. Loved it :)
+Mixing was astounding.
-The more intense section was too staccato, shortened. I think that style makes for a GREAT transition sound, but make the melodic approach for the "chorus", persay, more flowing. Maybe instead of a gated feel, go for connected pulses. Connected, but still a trailing off of the notes of the melody. The piece loses its beauty otherwise.
***Wow though, this is a great piece. Nice remix idea. I like when people remix the songs you don't even think about :)

Sweet.
+...coolness
-....look into that part, etc.
+Captivating intro
+Overall, nice mix.
-Cymbals at the beginning sound a bit too tinny. Not enough warmth to the sound.
+/-The main riff is enjoyable. Was starting to get irritable until it got to the break around 1:07
-High distortion seems to be common
+Nice bass :)
+Nice add of reeverb on the part at 1:07
-Personal opinion, but a little more intricacy wouldn't hurt. The transitions are lovely, but I feel like I'm waiting until those happen for something exciting to happen.
*This is a work in prog, so no big deal. These are just some things that came up. Cooooolness :D
-ImperfectDisciple
Ty.
Lol.
1. There's no reverb increase i know of...
2. I made the bass :)
3. Might want to listen to it again (Done Edits) has less distortion and more reverb.
Beautiful :)
+ ...good
- ...could improve on
+Different chord structure enhanced the warmth and texture of this piece
+Guitar and a "bell-like" piano is a perfect combo.
+Mixed very well
-The guitar is stale. The sound is good, but it's short, and not flowing. Add a little reeverb to it, not much. Enough to give it a natural, flowing feel.
+Makes for a nice loop
+/- Nice percussion. Perhaps look into a bossa nova and get one of those going towards the end.
*Overall, this was fun to listen to. Quite enjoyable with the different fillers and transitions. Nice :)
-ImperfectDisciple
Thanks for making my subwoofer worthwhile :)
'cause it rocks on this song :D
Coolio.
Fun music here. Definitely enjoyed the musicianship of this piece. Sounds like every video game piece I've heard minus the percussion, but that's questionable too. Awesome job.

Technically great, but boring.
On the Technical: very nice chops if you are playing that, very nice programming if you put that through a program through clicking (nice patience too if that's the case ;P). I really enjoyed how technical it was, it was pleasing.
On the boring: No Dynamics? Sorry, but that's a fail. The music stayed the same volume 95% of the time. It needs more emotional dynamics. Articulation and accents too; those were lacking, and the lack made it even worse. The reeverb then made it all flow together at the same volume. Call it "mush-sounding," for the lack of better terming. It just all mushes together.
-ImperfectDisciple
-P.S. You still get a 5/5, for the other side, you deserve it for making top 5 ;)
Sweet
-I'd prefer a little more variation, but this is great stuff here. Nice sounding, great idea. Keep it up!
-ImperfectDisciple
I guess i could add some more variation to it... but i've spent a shitload of time on it already and i actually have some other projects running... Thanks for the review though. (:
