Nice!
I like this :) I think I've heard this song before, but I take pleasure in this style. The piano/strings/vocal sounds perfect. :) Thanks, this made my day!

You're very welcome, I'm glad you liked it.
This is correct.
This is my favorite style within this genre, so thank you! Perhaps you could add some money type sounds since it's called "Money Talks." :D
-ImperfectDisciple
That would be an awesome idea for the full track :D
Thanks for your review man!

Haven't heard something from you in a while but I'm glad I stumbled upon this gem.
I wish this music played wherever I walked.
That's a gr8 compliment, thnx! I've been out of business for a while, attempting to ace university, working @ a bank; doing "the average Joe" ;) I've also kinda hit a ceiling, because I've been producing on crappy speakers (different types of shitty sound systems for 8 years now). My dream is to own a fully equipped studio one day. When that day arrives, I'll be back. With a vengeance.
But $$ first!
I am in love with this remix.
By far, this is the best remix of a song I've ever heard in my life. Very original style to tackle "Listen to Your Heart" with, but it's the greatest mix. The structure was amazing, as well as the instrumentation. Sir, I like your style. Thank you for making my day.
And btw, the small section of hardstyle around 2:50 was a genius transition to the end.

well that's quite an honor. thanks :D
Critique
+I am enjoying the musical theming going on here. It is spectacular. Very nice color with the harpsichord. The synthesizer add on brings the seemingly orchestral piece to a new level, along with the nice filtered drums coming it. I can definitely see this in an up and coming video game of sorts.
-Way too much reverb/echo, or whatever it is that makes this piece sound so loud and mushy. I can tell the tonal qualities of this piece are spectacular, but the reverb causes distortion of the piece. I dislike this.
-Work on getting a sharper image for the sound and I think this will be ace. Very nice. :)
-ImperfectDisciple
Thanks for the critique, its always welcome =).
Excuse me sir, but...
...if this isn't in the next Wii game I play that has a racing feature, I will jump off a cliff!
Not really, but still, that's exactly what it reminded me off! Very nice pacing combined with the change of instrumental texture and drum rhythms made for a great listening experience. The choice of style only made this one of the coolest video game musics I've heard.
While the same theme was repeated many times (with astounding contrasts mind you), another theme would have been welcome. That's just a personal opinion though.
Thanks, this was great! :)

Good writing for this style.
As far as the composition for this style goes, this is quite appealing. I have nothing more to say there.
The mixing certainly needs work. The volumes seem off for this style.
-Starting with the reverse cymbal: I'd take the volume down a small increment (something comfortable for the ears) and if I could increase the pitch some more so there wasn't a low rumble for the cymbal (yuck), I'd go for that too.
-Bass synth: a tad too loud, take it down in volume.
-Bass kick: needs a compressor on it definitely. Can't even hear the kick drum as loud as I think it should be.
-Lead synths: perfect volume, nice.
-Rest of drums: way too quiet.
-Also, as far as panning goes, the panning is missing. Imagine a stage and where each sound is coming from according to what you think, and then pan according.
-I hope I have helped, if you have any questions, let me know!

-I am also working on something, care to check it out?
Good starting structure
I like the muted feel of this piece, it adds to the "Untraceable," mysterious feel of tracking a suspected individual down.
I don't know what kind of panning you have considered thus far, but some panning would do great for filling up the entire stereo space. I feel as though it's all in the center right now.
I don't know if there are drums right now. I hear a slight rhythm in the background. I think that is good for a part of the loop/song, whichever it comes out to be. I would start a slow, heavy drum beat at 0:27. If you are curious about that, let me know, I'd be glad to give you an idea as to what I mean. I just don't know how else to describe what I am thinking besides "slow, heavy drum beat."
-Good stuff so far, I like how it's shaping.

I have a piece I am working on too, care to check it out?
Awesome!
I feel like you have a insanely good intro here right now. From 0:00-0:12, I like the synth work. From 0:12 on, I feel like the lead synths are quite muddy. Maybe if that underlying harmony from one of the synths was put an octave higher? Either that, or put a harmony working in thirds above the lead synth you have now. If you don't know what I mean, lemmy know, and I can get you an example.
I am digging the sound between the bass synth and the kick drum. It is a nice balance, not too overwhelming, but it makes you want to groove. Top notch.
I feel like a syncopated string stab of some sort would work with this as well. Something that goes against the four on the floor, but makes the piece sound even more groovy.
If I were thinking beyond what you have so far (as far as what comes next), perhaps the next section of the piece would be calmer with a melodic lead taking over with a slightly different chord structure.
-I hope this sparks up some new ideas!
-ImperfectDisciple
-I have a work in progress that I'm interesting in hearing about, could you leave a review?
Well I will surely listen to your WIP, and thanks for the constructive critisism. I get what you're saying and I'll try messing around with the harmony. I like your string stab idea as well I can really here that now that you mentioned it. Anyway thanks for help!
