yeah
It could be expanded, and taking some time to think it over and create will help towards that, but wow, yeah. I seriously thought this was on a real piano for a second, really nice sound!

Um...
What do you use? I want to write classical music, but with the instruments (plugins) you're using. I do it, but i rather post stuff here if I had these samples.
-Wow though, this is amazing, feels like the beginning of a great journey. I think some more dynamics could have been used, but overall, stunning! This is just brilliant. Strings made me cry at 2:05 with the brass mix. Wow, this inspires me to get better.

Hey!
Looks like we're looking at the same career path! Sweet!
-Well, from what I know, keep writing music! Practice makes perfect. Find ways to imagine scenes like this and keep going, maybe even imagine action and put to music, whatever. It's about perseverance and getting your work out there. I would suggest finding a college for film scoring, or looking for ways into the business. At the same time, I'd also be cautious, in a world where the economy is on a downturn or whatever you'd like to call it, the music industry won't thrive nearly as well, but you never know. Either way, if you love it, do it!
-Maybe we could collaborate, but judging from this awesome sound, I don't have this kinda sound, just the theory knowledge and imagination to write.
-ImperfectDisciple
Yeah it would be great getting into the music industry... and getting paid for what you enjoy doing, who knows.. mabey one day?
Thanks for the review
The hi-hat cymbal possibly?
I think that may be the one hinderance I hear mixing-wise in this track. It seems like it has way too many high frequencies , and it creates this tinny sound that's sorta annoying, kinda like brushing your teeth and only having the super high frequencies to it. I could be wrong, but it sounds like the hi-hat is causing some issues. The overall mid-low frequencies of the the track are heartwarming!!!
-This is amazing, the rest of the mixing is great, nice warm bass and just a great flow to the song, it feels like I'm flying or on top of a mountain, and you get this joy rushing through you. It's so sweet!

Needs singing, lol
It would be awesome if you got someone to sing. I can, just not too well, lol. In either case, singing would rock.
-ImperfectDisciple
Singing? o_O It feels loud enough to me, it would probably be pretty hard to fit one in there. XD I will be trying to find someone to sing for me in a future song, though, so look forward to that. ;) Thanks for the review!
Hmmm
This is good, but it would have been nice to get to 1:17 a little faster, it otherwise seemed like a simple rendition of the song. The only sound that is truly striking in its sound quality would be the harder synth(s) coming in at 1:17, those are impressive.
-Tis okay, but it could be better. Good try!

Feel free to give my music a screening, especially my newest theme, http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/141704
Worthy of DDR
Like, one of the hard levels like "Paranoia," this is so epic, and it's not too bad repetitive-wise. Sweet and groovy!

Hmm
Pretty good, but maybe the vocals could use some vocoding to get that "robot video game" type of feel, that might enhance it. Nice though. I'll be honest, I never touched either of those consoles, but gaming was quite magical around that time. I think the Legend of Zelda series is the only one that i care to even sit down and play anymore.
-ImperfectDisciple
-by the way, nice work! come check my songs out if you get the chance.
The Legend of Zelda is one of the only franchises I ever sit down to play seriously anymore as well. And I do love your review and the 9 man =) Thanks a lot.
splendid
Repetitive, but the vocal harmonization is very "Simon and Garfunkle." Nice!
-ImperfectDisciple
Thanks a bunch for the review =) Can't complain about the S&G-reference, they're pretty much awesome.
Yum
