Lol!
My only complaint is that we definitely have that bass guitar on too low of an EQ setting at the beginning. Otherwise, YAYZ!!!

I've been working on it a bit, and this is one of the changes in the newer version. I'll try and get an updated version up soon.
Thanks for your review, and good luck with your music! :)
Damn, amazing work dude!
I think this is some top notch stuff, especially the percussion. Really not much to do with melodies or harmonizing, just a couple of notes that get repetitive to be honest, but...I definitely think the drums rock.
-Nice dude!
-ImperfectDisciple
Arg!
So close, I wish you could shape those notes a little more, for example, the clarinet sounding instrument was so cool, but would have been nice if it had a dynamic flow to it, crescendo-ing and decrescendo-ing to emphasize the feeling that it gave out. Overall dynamics are nice, along with the harmonizations, I enjoyed those.
-Nice!!!

Harmony makes the world go round...
...along with some other musical elements of course.
Harmonies rocked pretty nicely. The melody line was cool, and the dynamics were really cool too, added a lot of feeling to the song. Rhythm was consistent but had the occasional change to keep me interested.
-Yeah accapella!
-ImperfectDisciple
True music.
You obviously have a good, or even great understand of music, and how it needs to sound. I love it because the melody, harmony, rhythm, everything messes really nicely. There's expression and dynamics, and I love it :D
-Only thing is maybe the ending could have a longer crescendo to it? The ending was good, but a better build back to the beginning of the loop would have been nice.
-ImperfectDisciple
Short...
But fricken sweet!!!
-That is all :D
-ImperfectDisciple
Thanks a lot, man. I posted the full song, on my other account. You might know it.
Bad-man-incorporated. Glad you like it dude. The song is actually called "River of Blood".
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for the review!\m/
Well...
It's actually kinda interesting. My main complaint is that the song is very high frequency. The instruments have this high edge that just hurts my ears, so yes, my ears are bleeding, but being healed at the same time?
-Basically, EQ the high end, it's sharp and it has a bit of distortion.
yep... you are right ... so, i made a new version but i don't know if i should post it ...
maby i should wayt until they will put the option to update a song because i don't want to have many of those, one is more than enough.
thanx for review, probably the most helpfull
You definitely know how to use your melodies.
The melodies and harmonies of the instruments are really uplifting, which is really nice. Some of the instruments need to be mixed better, such as the piano, it seems too piercing on the high end, maybe move the EQ'ing to the middle frequencies to add some clarity.
-The bass might be a bit too much, not sure 'cause I can hear slight crackling, not sure if that's intentional.
-My only serious complaint is that the song isn't very dynamic on the drums, which is okay, but then it gets to the end of the song, and it's quite disappointing. Maybe if you kicked it back with some drums with a full up ending, that might be more satisfying, 'cause it seems as though you built it up for nothing.
-Good though!

Thanks for the tips! I can perfectly understand each suggestion, especially the drums. Some better mastering might have helped the piano, but I wish I had some higher quality bass drum samples since I am not really experienced enough to recreate one. The drums should have been more dynamic, I agree, but I wasn't exactly trying to build up a climactic ending even though the arp and reverb kick at the end would likely tell otherwise, it's just kind of how the sounds went together I suppose.
I appreciate the review very much and will take to heart the suggestions for future reference.
A bit too much bass in all the instruments.
I know that usually, you want a good amount for such instruments as the kick drum and a little from the bass, but the mixing on the bass is very muddy and wobbly. The clap is a bit piercing too, a little too much high frequency. If anything, the bass drum is fine, but the brass and strings need to come out more, especially at the main part of the song, which is around 0:20, and ends at about 0:43.
-Basically, just mix it better, and it's golden :)
-The overall structure of the song (riffs and stuff), is not bad at all. The beginning starts off pretty nice, the groove is fairly simple, but easy to follow because the instruments and their riffs carry the groove nicely.
-The song starts to get repetitive though. The main part is used alot, and I mean A LOT. Take advantage of that and add some dynamics, maybe just use the beat and the piano at one part, add some fills on the drums at key points to drive the song, little things like that really create a great song.
-Good :)
-ImperfectDisciple
we mixed it that nothing overpowering, so we just left it like that
if u listen to this on good speakers then the kicks are fine, it sounds good on my speakers dunno about yours,
oh and hip hop is repetitive, and we arej ust lazy to think about anything else=D
well im looking for such reviews and the next time we collab we use this review to make the song better
but on this track its just how it is
we really appreciate it
thanks for the great review
